It is the same kind of stainless steel material, no difference. SUS304 stainless steel and 304 stainless steel are exactly the same, but the stainless steel standard numbers are different between countries. SUS304 stainless steel is the name of Japan, 304 stainless steel is the name of the United States, in our country is called 0 Cr18Ni9.

SUS304 is the Japanese JIS standard material, is the Japanese SUS series austenitic stainless steel. Equivalent to China's 0 Cr18Ni9, the United States 304.

Because SUS304 contains high nickel and austenite single-phase structure at room temperature, it has high corrosion resistance compared with Cr13 stainless steel, high plasticity and toughness at low temperature, room temperature and high temperature, and good cold forming and welding. However, the strength at room temperature is low, the tendency of intergranular corrosion and stress corrosion is large, and the machinability is poor. Austenite does not change phase upon heating and therefore cannot be strengthened by heat treatment.
